Happy summer to our GJPS families! We thank you and all of our Foundation supporters for a great year! You brought the glamour, excitement, and community spirit to our “Premiere Night” Gahanna Gala — and we couldn’t have rolled out the red carpet without you! Your incredible generosity continues to make a lasting impact on students and staff across the district. Because of your support, the Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation is helping bring innovative and meaningful learning experiences to every student in our schools. During our Gala at the Jefferson Country Club in February, you helped raise more than $140,000 through exciting live and silent auctions! Check out all of the photos from our fabulous event! We immediately put those funds into action. Teachers have already applied for Grants of Excellence, and those dollars are already supporting new equipment, creative programming, and engaging learning opportunities for students this fall. Thank you for helping make this year’s Gala a blockbuster success! Together, we’re creating unforgettable opportunities for students and ensuring every child has a chance to shine.
On October 10, 2025, we had a great time celebrating our GLHS Alumni Hall of Fame inductees and Dale Foor Cornerstone Award winners at Jefferson Country Club.
friends and colleagues for a special celebration. Gahanna Employability and Adult Readiness (GEAR) is a state-of-the-art post-secondary program that provides instruction and services to young adults with disabilities ages 18-21. These students have earned the credits needed to graduate and are working on developing employability skills, adult readiness skills, and independent transition skills. GEAR Gardens will be a student-run business. Our students will be involved in all aspects of the work. The goal of the program will be self-sustaining, and it is your donations that will make this happen. We will create a hydroponic garden capable of producing a variety of vegetables, greens, and flowers. We will donate 50% of our produce to GRIN (Gahanna Residents In Need) and be a food resource to our families and neighborhoods. GEAR Gardens has a leadership team and a steering committee that includes partners from the construction industry, agriculture, marketing, fundraising, and education. Royal Manor Elementary School has provided green space where the proposed GEAR Gardens will be located. The Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation is providing assistance with fundraising and awareness. We welcome all community members and business partners who are interested in helping make this dream a reality. ![]() | ||||||||||||||||||
