Memorial Funds

If you have a loved one who has a close connection to the Gahanna Schools, a memorial or tribute gift is a meaningful way to honor that loved one or celebrate a special occasion. GJEF is honored to steward several Memorial Funds that were established by generous donors for the purpose of providing enrichment programs in specific areas for Gahanna students. Your memorial or tribute gift will be a lasting legacy in his or her name and will make a difference in the lives of our students.

Endowment Funds - The donor must make a commitment to grow the fund to a minimum level of $10,000 within 2 years of establishing the fund. Grants will be made from the fund once the fund reaches $10,000. The GJEF Board of Trustees shall establish a spending policy that will designate the maximum amount that can be expended.

Flow-Through Funds - A Flow-Through fund may be established when the balance reaches $2,500 within 2 years. The fund may be set up for a specific purpose without being endowed. There is no maximum amount that may be spent per year.
