The Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation administers scholarships on behalf of individuals and groups.  In spring of 2024, over $108,900 was awarded to graduating seniors from Gahanna Lincoln High School along with past graduates.  Thank you to the following generous supporters of scholarships:

The Gale & Frances Mechwert Butts scholarship is for students who are in foster care or those who come from fragile family backgrounds.  The unique aspect of this scholarship is that it can be renewed each year as long as the student is in good standing with his or her college/program of study.  The scholarship can be used for a four-year degree, two-year degree or a trade/certificated program.  The Education Foundation also provides a mentor to each student.  The mentors provide guidance for the students as they navigate through their next phase of education and living arrangements.  GJEF will be mentoring 13 students for the school year 2024-25.  

Applications for all scholarships will be available in the Guidance Department beginning February 1st of each year.
