Scott Campbell Memorial Fund
Scott Campbell graduated from GLHS in 1988. During his Sophomore, Junior and Senior years, he was a member of the high school golf team in which he achieved athletic letters and awards. The Gahanna Golf team was very successful in the highly competitive Ohio Athletic Conference. Individually, Scott was a medalist in several events and was selected to the OAC all-conference team. While performing under the leadership of Coach Marshall Glenn, he achieved a historic first. During his Senior year, Scott was the first ever member of the GLHS golf program to qualify for the State of Ohio interscholastic championship. This annual event was held at the Ohio State University Scarlet Golf course. Scott finished 12th within a field of 85 golfers. After graduating from GLHS, Scott attended Bowling Green State University where he received a degree in marketing. While he always maintained a passion for golf, he chose to focus on academics. Following college, Scott enjoyed a successful marketing career. He retained and improved his love for golf by participating in several corporate sponsored events and a few local tournaments. Scott developed a meaningful set of values throughout his career which he often shared. Some of those values were: (1) take care of your health, (2) support the development of youth and (3) sustain positive relationships. Sadly, Scott passed away suddenly, in 2020. With his passing, the Scott Campbell Memorial Fund has been established to provide financial support for the Gahanna Lincoln golf program. The fund's focus is on health, students, and sportsmanship. To provide supplemental resources to the Gahanna-Jefferson golf program (for the energetic engagement of students and staff). Objectives:
